Noble symbol:Calacatta Marble 2021-08-10 16:09:03

Calacatta Marble: This natural stone comes from a large number of quarries in the mountains of Carrara, Italy. For this reason, Calacatta is often confused with Carrara marble, but be aware that although these two stones have many similarities, they are not the same. They are all white marbles made of almost the same material and almost indistinguishable geological formations. The differences are subtle, but they are there, especially for trained eyes. Generally speaking, Carrara marble is a darker gray with softer veins, while Calakatta is whiter with thicker veins.

The magic of the calacatta marble exterior is attributed to the prominent Calacatta veining, which is being revived in today's most fashionable residential and commercial spaces. Intricate details reveal the story of the source of natural stone from the Apuan Alps in the Carrara region of northern Tuscany. This appearance turns contemporary surfaces into striking graphic works of art.

Don't worry about cleaning

Unlike natural marble, Calacatta marble is non-porous, as are all Caesarite surfaces. This means that no wax or chemical sealant is required. In terms of maintenance, environmentally friendly cleaners or simple soap and water are almost all you need to maintain the Calacatta surface and keep it beautiful for years to come.
